3 Easy Steps to Create More Fulfillment

 


I work with a lot of people who are in careers positions or situations in their life where they really feel stuck. They trudge into work. They tell themselves all kinds of things just to get through the day. And their big payoff is the weekend, so they can get out and enjoy themselves.

But my question is, what about the rest of their life?

Today I want to outline 3 Steps to Create More Fulfillment. And yes, it's a big subject.

There are a lot of different things I could talk about. I bring up quite a few of these in my new book, Let Go of the Sh*t Show, which is for sale on Amazon.

But I want to talk about just 3 basic steps to get you moving in the right direction, and it is going to take being courageous, ..and being honest with yourself, really honest with yourself.

Are you really happy with your experience of life? Are you doing the things that create a lot of fulfillment and joy... or are you just getting by? I want to take you from a place of, "Oh, it will be okay" or "It will be better tomorrow" kind of state.

You don't want to be there.

1. To have a life well-lived, I love the idea of being in service. My question to you is, how can you be in service to others and love what you're doing? Believe me, when you fulfill yourself in that direction, it will light up your heart. It will light up your energy. And yes, the income will come, too. It's a beautiful place to be.

2. What types of activities do you really enjoy? I want you to list the ways you like to live and start making plans to fulfill those dreams. Do you like to be outdoors? Are there things you like to do outside? Were you ever good at a sport? Do you want to try a new sport, try something new, and create new habits? Do you like being around groups of people? How about having an intelligent, loving, deeply connected relationship that you can really enjoy?

Yes, it is within your reach. We can create whatever it is we want to bring into our life. What it will take is defining what it is we want and... a focus. That's it. We can have it all and I want you to have it.

3. How are you doing at loving yourself? Do you take time for yourself? Are you incorporating self-care into your life? I know... guys, we never cared about that. Well, I'll tell you, I've incorporated some habits that have really helped me. It involves exercise. It involves meditation. This is self-care time. I want you to seek to have a deeper understanding of yourself and "choose" a lifestyle.

You can choose to journal each day, to get clear on how you can focus more on bringing what it is you want into your life -- more nutritional foods, achieving deeply restful sleep. And my favorite -- being brain healthy. What does that mean? Well, when you really understand your mind and you stop focusing on all the random things you used to focus on... and focus on what it is you really want, ...tell yourself how amazing you are, ...how healthy you are, ...how vibrant you are... you can start really shifting your life. 

What are your predominant thoughts and emotions? It's time to be aware and create more awareness of those patterns that don't serve you. Patterning is, ..your go-to way of thinking, ...your go-to way of feeling ...or a go-to way of seeing the world, and your go-to way of seeing yourself. Identifying that takes a little bit of time. Most of it is unconscious, but this will shift everything.

My last piece of advice -- it's okay to ask for help. I'm here to support you to shift quickly because it's your life and it's time to get what you really want.
